2012 Essay Contest 
(winners will be announced in early June)

In 1,000 words or less, please reflect on the following:

“You are now a steward of medicine and it is your job to safeguard the profession.” - Arnold P. Gold
What does it mean to you (and your patients) to be a steward of medicine?

Awards:

First place $1,000; second place #500; and third place $250. The winning essays will be published in an upcoming issue of the AAMC's Academic Medicine Jouranl and posted on our website. 

Deadline:

All essays need to be submitted by 11:59pm Sunday, April 15, 2012.

Submitting:

Download and complete the entry form. Essays without an accompanying entry form will not be accepted.

Do not include your name on the essay itself (only the entry form).

Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
