The Gold Foundation provides financial support for programs and projects that encourage compassionate and relationship-centered healthcare. In order to become complete doctors, physicians must be able to understand the human condition; scientific knowledge and technology are critical to medicine, but do not represent the full scope of competencies necessary for effective doctoring. For this reason, the Gold Foundation partners with medical schools and teaching hospitals to infuse humanism into medical training from the first day of medical school to the last day of residency.
The Gold Foundation creates and supports national programs for which schools, teaching hospitals and other appropriate institutions may apply. We also provide funding for innovative projects proposed by students, residents and faculty.
The Gold Foundation provides grants only to 501(c)(3) organizations.
